About The Position

The Senior Catering Manager at Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, plans and executes catered events while delivering memorable guest experiences. The role develops catering business, builds client relationships, creates menus and events, coordinates event details through every phase, and guides team performance to provide consistently high-level service.

Responsibilities

• Solicit new client relationships, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts to grow catering market segments and close new business.
• Maintain relationships with existing corporate and social accounts to secure repeat business.
• Design creative menus and catered events that maximize revenue and enhance the guest experience.
• Manage event documentation and coordinate the pre-event, event, and post-event phases; serve as the primary client contact, resolve issues proactively, and ensure smooth execution.
• Communicate client requirements, direct team members, and provide feedback and coaching to support consistent, high-level service.
