About The Position

Qatar Airways (QR) is seeking a Senior Cargo Sales Executive to join their global cargo team in Dallas, Texas. This role is part of an exciting transformation journey to change how QR interacts with its customers. The executive will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, protecting existing business, and identifying new growth opportunities. They will also promote QR’s cargo products and services while ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service. The position offers opportunities for growth and impact within an international community.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage all sales and marketing activities at the station and region, driving market penetration and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Develop strategic business plans including sales steering activities to optimize revenue and enhance QR’s market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, key clients, and business partners in the cargo industry.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and market share analysis using compliant methods. Identify trends and areas for improvement, and implement corrective strategies.
  • Ensure QR’s participation in sales campaigns and public events.
  • Assist customers/clients with all information related to booking/forwarding/delivery liaising with the local Ground Handling Agents and with Head Office Cargo departments.
  • Perform other dept. duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of Department.
