About The Position

Boundless Care Inc. is seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced female senior caregiver for an in-home companionship and support role for a 77-year-old female client in Hollister, CA. The client is independently mobile but requires assistance due to recent increases in forgetfulness, occasional confusion, and hallucinations. The ideal candidate will be patient, understanding, and experienced in supporting seniors with memory-related or behavioral challenges.

Requirements

• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.
• At least 1 year of professional senior caregiving experience.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Recent TB clearance.
• Patient, dependable, compassionate, and an effective communicator.

Nice To Haves

• Experience caring for seniors with memory loss, confusion, or challenging behaviors is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement.
• Encourage proper hydration and regular meals.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure the client is eating adequately.
• Provide gentle reminders and support with daily routines.
• Monitor the client's general well-being and report any concerns or changes in behavior.
• Maintain a calm, reassuring, and safe environment.
• Communicate regularly with the family and care coordination team.
