Requirements
- Home Care Aide (HCA) registration preferred (We can guide you through the process if not registered)
- Prior caregiving experience preferred
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Access to a mobile phone
- Ability to travel within Contra Costa and Alameda Counties
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Availability for weekend shifts
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Accompany clients on outings, shopping trips, and errands
- Provide non-medical medication reminders
- Assist with ambulation and safe client transfers
- Follow individualized care plans and client-specific instructions
- Complete required documentation and charting accurately
