About The Position

Open Arms Solutions is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to support seniors in their homes in Homer Glen, Lemont, and nearby communities. Caregivers provide personal care and nighttime support, helping clients feel safe and supported at home. The role offers overnight assignments, with 8-hour and 12-hour opportunities. Weekday and weekend assignments may be available, and ongoing cases depend on client needs and caregiver availability.

Pay is $19 per hour, paid biweekly. The position includes paid training, PTO and health benefits subject to eligibility requirements, and an employee referral bonus program. Applicants submit an application, complete prescreen questions, and self-schedule a virtual interview.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• Experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, CNA/HHA, DSP, or a similar setting.
• Comfort providing personal care and working independently.
• Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation, as applicable to the assignment.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to complete required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and nighttime routines.
• Help with toileting, repositioning, and mobility as needed.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Offer overnight safety supervision and companionship.
• Assist with meals and hydration.
• Complete light household tasks related to client care.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition.
