About The Position

We are a global engineering group headquartered in France, employing over 15,000 people. We have been present in the global market for over 30 years, in more than 30 countries. In Poland, we opened our first office in February 2021 in Tychy. Currently, we have offices in 3 locations: Tychy, Krakow, and Poznan, and our team consists of almost 200 people. Segula supports its clients in carrying out various projects in the automotive, aerospace, rail, marine, energy, etc. industries. In Poland, we currently cooperate mainly with the automotive and rail sectors. Requirements

Higher technical education (preferably mechanical engineering and machine construction or related fields);
Very good knowledge of CATIA supported by design experience;
Practical knowledge of plastic element design;
Professional experience in a similar position in the automotive industry;
Knowledge of English enabling fluent technical and business communication.

Responsibilities

Coordination of cooperation between OEM clients, the design office, and the toolroom;
Design in the CATIA environment for OEM and Tier 1 projects at various stages of development;
DFM and Mold Flow analysis and optimization of designs for tooling purposes;
Representing the company before the client and preparing technical documentation;
Development of DFMEA analyses for current details and components;
Verification of parts and implementation of design corrections;
Mentoring junior designers and supporting their development;
Time tracking and reporting project progress;
Supporting the team and carrying out tasks in the design department.
