About The Position

The Senior Business Systems Manager, Workfront is responsible for owning and evolving how work flows through the Premium Learning Subscription organization. This role designs and implements an end-to-end Workfront operating model that connects intake, prioritization, execution, and reporting into a cohesive, scalable system. The role balances organizational and workflow design with hands-on platform ownership, ensuring Workfront enables clarity, consistency, and operational efficiency as the business grows. This role entails both designing system architectures and implementing them directly. The ideal candidate will take pride in transforming complex requirements into straightforward, practical solutions within the tool.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience coordinating and configuring Adobe Workfront in a complex, multi-functional organization.
  • Current Adobe Workfront Administrator certification (required).
  • Demonstrable experience owning an enterprise Workfront instance end-to-end, including configuration, governance, optimization, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business and operational requirements into scalable, maintainable Workfront solutions.
  • Experience designing and implementing intake, prioritization, workflow, and governance models within a work management system.
  • Solid understanding of system hygiene, data integrity, and reducing technical or operational debt in legacy platforms.
  • Experience building dashboards and reports that support operational visibility and leadership decision making.
  • Ability to operate independently as a systems owner, making informed tradeoffs in service of long-term clarity and scalability.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional Workfront certifications (e.g., Core Developer, Project Manager) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and own the end-to-end Workfront operating model, connecting intake, prioritization, execution, and reporting into a unified system.
  • Translate business needs and strategic priorities into scalable Workfront workflows, standards, and configurations.
  • Personally configure and maintain core Workfront components, including request queues, custom forms, templates, portfolios/programs, dashboards, and reports.
  • Establish and evolve governance standards to improve consistency, data quality, and reporting reliability across teams.
  • Identify and reduce technical and operational debt by simplifying fragmented or duplicative configurations.
  • Own the overall health of the Workfront instance, including users, groups, teams, roles, permissions, and system settings.
  • Manage Workfront release readiness and platform updates, implementing new functionality while maintaining system stability.
  • Drive increased adoption and maturity across teams through thoughtful system development, enablement, and transition support.
  • Partner closely with multi-functional leaders to balance local needs with global standards and long-term scalability.
