Why This Role Matters Every role at Kinective exists to move the needle for our clients, partners, and the financial institutions we serve. As the Manager, Business Systems, you will own the day-to-day operations, roadmap, and continuous improvement of our core enterprise platforms — including Salesforce, Sage Intacct, HubSpot, Certinia, and Vitally. This role is a critical liaison between business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Finance, and Operations) and a technical delivery team. You’ll lead Agile processes, manage team and contractor capacity, drive change management, and champion the adoption of AI and automation to unlock new levels of operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a business analyst, systems manager, or platform ownership role
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, CPQ); Salesforce Administrator certification strongly preferred
  • Experience with ERP platforms — Sage Intacct or comparable (e.g., NetSuite, SAP)
  • Strong command of Agile/Scrum; experience running ceremonies and managing sprint teams
  • Proficiency with JIRA (or comparable ticketing/backlog management tool)
  • Working knowledge of integration architecture concepts (API, middleware, iPaaS), especially Salesforce-to-ERP integrations
  • Experience with reporting and analytics; ability to build and interpret dashboards across business systems

Responsibilities

  • Business Systems Ownership & Stakeholder Partnership
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders (Sales, Customer Support, Finance, Operations) and the Business Systems function
  • Surface roadmap priorities, risks, and escalations with clarity and urgency
  • Build trust through clear communication, expectation-setting, and consistent follow-through
  • Roadmap, Intake & Prioritization
  • Own the end-to-end roadmap, intake process, and prioritization across: Salesforce (Sales Cloud, CPQ, Experience Cloud), Sage Intacct, HubSpot, Certinia, and Vitally, etc.
  • Balance competing priorities by aligning work to business outcomes, delivery capacity, and platform dependencies
  • Business Analysis & Delivery Readiness
  • Lead business analyst functions: requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, process documentation, and user story authoring
  • Translate complex needs into clear, actionable user stories and implementation-ready specifications
  • Agile Execution, Capacity & Performance Management
  • Run Agile ceremonies: intake screening, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
  • Assign and track work across team members and contractors
  • Own the ticket queue, SLA performance, and sprint velocity metrics
  • Change Management, Release Communications & Adoption
  • Design and govern change management and release communications (business-facing and technical) to ensure smooth rollouts with minimal disruption
  • Support adoption through enablement, documentation, and feedback loops that drive continuous improvement
  • Vendors, Licensing, and Continuous Innovation
  • Manage vendor relationships and software licensing for business systems tools
  • Drive innovation through adoption of AI, automation, and emerging platform capabilities
