About The Position

Handoff is seeking a Senior Business Operations Analyst to enhance operational efficiency as the company scales. This role involves working closely with the COO on various initiatives including operational improvements, financial analysis, strategic planning, refining internal processes, and undertaking special projects across the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, capable of independent work, and thrives in a dynamic startup setting. Responsibilities range from updating financial models and improving hiring processes to developing company-wide dashboards, offering broad business exposure and direct impact on Handoff's growth.

Requirements

3–7 years of experience in business operations, consulting, finance, analytics, strategy, or startup operations.
Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills. Comfortable building models and analyzing data.
Excellent written communication skills.
High ownership and strong follow-through.
Able to work independently and solve ambiguous problems.
Comfortable moving between strategic and operational work.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus

Responsibilities

Facilitate Handoff's departmental planning process — driving submissions, tracking progress, and holding teams accountable
Maintain and continuously improve company-wide dashboards, KPIs, and operational tooling
Provide support on board decks, investor updates, and executive materials
Build and maintain financial models; help prepare analysis for key business decisions
Track departmental budgets and flag spend variances
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and renewals
Codify work norms and operating standards as the company scales
Assist with prep and logistics for company all-hands meetings and recurring leadership syncs
Assist with planning & execution of internal events and company off-sites
