About The Position

The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer develops, implements, and maintains data models, reporting structures, and analytics solutions to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role enhances business intelligence capabilities by creating reports and dashboards and collaborating with business stakeholders to produce actionable insights and optimize performance. It ensures data is presented clearly and efficiently in support of organizational strategic goals. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to quickly understand new concepts and develop original solutions to complex issues.
Experience using business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau to create standard dashboards and reports.
Strong communication skills for collaborating effectively with business stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects.
General knowledge of industry or business operations relevant to the role.
One year of experience with T-SQL.
One year of experience with Power BI.

Responsibilities

Design and implement data models that provide a robust foundation for business intelligence reporting and analysis.
Develop data structures that support efficient querying and aggregation of large datasets and align with business needs.
Build and maintain interactive, user-friendly reports and dashboards using Power BI.
Translate business requirements into analytical models aligned with organizational objectives.
Ensure reporting and analysis data is accurate, consistent, and meets organizational quality standards.
Evaluate and improve data models, reporting processes, and analytics workflows as business needs evolve.
Stay current on industry trends and emerging business intelligence technologies.
Automate repetitive reporting tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Provide business users with clear guidance and resources to support data-driven decisions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
