About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant to serve as a strategic partner between CIB stakeholders and enterprise Supply Chain Management (SCM), driving Market Data vendor relationship optimization, governance compliance, and timely execution of complex SCM tasks. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison for CIB’s Market Data / Market Research engagements with enterprise and Third-Party activities, summarizing portfolio performance, influencing senior stakeholders, and presenting insights. You will provide a consistent engagement model between CIB and Enterprise Supply Chain Management (SCM), supporting intake/triage, demand review, sourcing execution, invoicing coordination, third-party risk activities, and reporting, ensuring Markets’ leaders have clear visibility, ownership, and escalation paths. You will drive disciplined governance across the market data lifecycle (intake; due diligence; contracting; onboarding / access provisioning; payment; utilization and ongoing monitoring), improving metadata consistency, inventory integrity, and decision-grade visibility for renewals, rationalization, and controls. You will lead comparison benchmarking to identify optimal providers, determine equivalent competencies, and support budgeting/forecasting cycles. You will partner with entitlement teams and relevant workflow owners to ensure requests are fulfilled through the appropriate controlled processes, with clear handoffs and closure discipline. You will identify cost-saving opportunities, perform variance analysis, and support budgeting and forecasting cycles. You will oversee completion of Inherent Risk Questionnaires, compliance assessments, and remediation activities. You will lead recurring vendor portfolio reviews, ensure SLA adherence and performance optimization. You will ensure adherence to regulatory standards and contractual compliance, proactively surface emerging risks, track remediation, and coordinate stakeholder decisions and escalations. You will drive automation initiatives and leverage procurement tools for efficiency, improving cycle times, transparency, and data quality across the Market Data portfolio.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in an organization related to Market Data or within a Markets organization (sell-side or buy-side) with strong understanding of the front-to-back trading lifecycle and how vendor services impact trading, risk, operations, and controls
  • Comprehensive understanding of market data products and industry vendor dynamics to drive well-informed, strategic decisions
  • Ability to engage and influence senior CIB and Technology stakeholders, translate business needs into execution steps, and communicate clearly under time pressure
  • Strong communication, executive interaction and presentation skills
  • Analytical mindset with experience in SLA governance and vendor management
  • Ability to synthesize portfolio data into actionable insights
  • Basic financial acumen for cost analysis and business case development
  • Advanced stakeholder management and negotiation skills
