About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant for our Payments Transformation and Industry Initiatives Team as a part of Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) Operations division. In this role, you will independently lead multiple payment transformation workstreams, including FX, to build project plans and implement strategic initiatives. You will ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations. You will research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business. You will work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership. You will assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience. You will collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures. You will provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners.

Requirements

4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

Experience across payments platforms, including SWIFT, Fedwire, and ACH, with an understanding of end-to-end payment processing flows
Solid knowledge of Capital Markets Operations, including post-trade processing, settlement activities, and operational risk considerations
Hands-on experience supporting industry initiatives such as ISO 20022 modernization and broader payments transformation efforts
Strong knowledge of FX-enabled cross-border payments, including spot/forward execution, SWIFT payment flows, and associated settlement via Nostro/Vostro accounts
Proven ability to lead business requirements analysis, perform detailed business analysis, challenge existing processes, and drive effective solutions in partnership with technology and operations teams
Experience supporting project execution and contributing to strategic initiatives, including coordination across stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery
