About The Position

PMJOBS.US is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive new business acquisition across North America for an established provider of warehouse management software. Their platform is designed for complex, high-volume distribution and third-party logistics operations, focusing on measurable operational results like throughput, accuracy, and labor. The company is well-established in its market and deliberately small in North America, presenting an opportunity for the right candidate to build a territory from the ground up. This is a new position created to enhance closing power within the North American business.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years selling B2B software solutions.
  • Experience selling WMS, supply chain execution, TMS, OMS, warehouse automation, robotics, or closely adjacent logistics technology.
  • A documented record of closing net-new logos.
  • Consistent quota attainment, year over year.
  • Ability to build pipeline through own outbound activity.
  • Comfort selling to operations, supply chain, and IT stakeholders within the same deal.
  • Credibility on a warehouse floor to conduct early discovery without an engineer.
  • Experience with longer, more complex, solution-oriented sales cycles.
  • Willingness to travel 50–75%.
  • Maturity to produce in a lean, remote, self-managed environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently selling WMS, supply chain execution, or logistics software.
  • Experience with mid-market deals (operations 50,000 to 250,000 sq ft, 1,000 to 10,000 orders/day, buyers $50M to $1B revenue band, first-year contract values $150,000 to $500,000).
  • Proven success winning against larger, better-known competitors.
  • Desire for more deal ownership and less structure.
  • Preference for a role with greater individual responsibility over being one of many reps.

Responsibilities

  • Own new-logo acquisition across the United States.
  • Build the pipeline, run the sales cycle, and close deals.
  • Conduct discovery on-site to identify operational inefficiencies and quantify potential improvements.
  • Sell to VPs of Supply Chain and Operations, distribution center directors, COOs, IT leadership, and directly to owners at 3PLs.
  • Manage complex sales cycles of six to twelve months, including software, implementation, and services.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and implementation resources.

Benefits

  • Uncapped commission paid on gross profit across licenses, services, and support.
  • Accelerators above quota.
  • Genuinely open territory in a growing market.
  • Direct access to decision-makers with fast approvals.
  • Analyst-recognized platform.
  • Opportunity to build the North American story.
  • Visible results where contributions are recognized.
