Senior Business Development Lead
About The Position
We are building the standard for seamless, real-time compliance enforcement for financial applications built on blockchains. We empower teams to create modular policy enforcement for anti-money laundering and sanctions compliance, enforced in real-time before transactions execute. Our system enforces these policies with cryptographic guarantees, providing robust, scalable risk management tailored to real-world use cases. Today, we power the end-to-end compliance infrastructure for fintechs and financial institutions across the digital assets industry. As Senior Business Development Lead, you will deeply understand enterprise customers' core compliance and regulatory challenges. This role extends beyond a traditional sales function and bridges into a deployment strategist function. Success will come by serving as a trusted partner of enterprise customers to design onchain compliance solutions that meet the business, legal, and regulatory requirements of their financial products.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales, ideally within crypto, fintech, or regulated financial infrastructure
- Demonstrated track record of sourcing and closing complex, technical, enterprise-level agreements
- Excitement to architect solutions with enterprise customers through the design process until commercials close
- Ability to translate ambiguous regulatory and compliance requirements into clear, actionable guidance for customer teams
- Strong understanding of, or demonstrated ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, blockchain infrastructure and the regulatory landscape governing digital assets
- An existing professional network within crypto, fintech, or financial services
- Ownership, agency, and a high bar for quality
Responsibilities
- Close six-figure annual recurring contracts with fintechs, financial institutions, and crypto companies
- Manage a pipeline across the full sales cycle, including prospecting, technical scoping, proposal development, negotiation, and contract close
- Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into concrete product and technical decisions in coordination with customer engineering, compliance, and legal stakeholders
- Provide strategic guidance on compliance architecture decisions including freeze and blacklist designs, KYC/KYB workflows, and AML/CFT screening approaches
- Identify, structure, and manage strategic partnerships that expand distribution and product
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to relay customer and partner feedback into the roadmap
- Contribute to the development and refinement of go-to-market strategy as a senior member of the business team
