About The Position
This role serves as a strategic partner between the Real Estate Capital business and Technology teams, delivering and supporting technology solutions for the Commercial Real Estate lending business. The IT Senior Business Analyst will influence cross-functional teams to optimize business processes and application capabilities, focusing on platforms like Moody's CreditLens to support the full CRE loan lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting enterprise technology solutions
- Demonstrated experience managing requirements for complex systems involving multiple business stakeholders
- Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and SDLC practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Experience creating process models, workflow diagrams, use cases, and business requirements documents
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence decisions and drive consensus across business and technology teams
Nice To Haves
- Commercial lending or Commercial Real Estate lending experience
- Experience with Moody's CreditLens or other commercial credit platforms
- Knowledge of CRE origination, underwriting, approval, and portfolio management processes
- Experience with data mapping, system integrations, and enterprise data platforms
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and process modeling tools
- Understanding of banking regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements
- Experience working with cloud-based and SaaS lending platforms
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops with business and technology stakeholders
- Elicit, analyze, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements for complex enterprise initiatives
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories, process flows, business rules, and technical requirements
- Analyze impacts across multiple applications, integrations, and downstream consumers
- Ensure requirements align with strategic business objectives and technology roadmaps
- Document current-state and future-state business processes
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, user experience, and automation
- Collaborate with architects, developers, product owners, and business SMEs to design effective solutions
- Support enhancements and modernization initiatives involving Moody's CreditLens and supporting applications
- Develop data mapping and source-to-target requirements for integrations across internal and third-party platforms
- Develop and support testing strategies for complex technology initiatives
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing activities with business stakeholders
