About The Position

TEKsystems Global Services is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a large-scale Document Management and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) engagement. This delivery-focused role calls for a hands-on, technically capable analyst who can work independently, partner closely with engineering teams, and translate complex business needs into clear, testable requirements for AWS-based, API-driven, and UI-centric solutions. The Senior Business Analyst will lead requirements elicitation, analysis, validation, and documentation; create and maintain structured artifacts; and act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams throughout discovery and delivery. The role also supports testing, user acceptance testing, integration, and deployment readiness by checking requirements coverage and validating end-to-end workflows and data handoffs. This is a permanent, fully remote position based out of Santa Fe, New Mexico. The role requires a U.S.-based resource due to state government constraints and legal authorization to work in the United States. A bachelor's degree and significant relevant experience are required. The anticipated application deadline is November 3, 2026. The pay range is $84,500 to $126,700 per year; individual compensation depends on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and other job-related factors. Additional earnings may be available through incentive programs such as annual bonuses and profit sharing.

Requirements

At least 7 years of Business Analyst experience, including delivery of complex technical solutions.
Strong experience gathering and documenting functional and technical requirements, use case requirements, data flows, and data transformation processes.
API familiarity and experience with modern web and mobile UI concepts.
Working knowledge of AWS-based platforms and AI/IDP solutions.
Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills, including the ability to communicate with business, technical, and executive audiences.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor's degree with significant relevant experience.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be based in the U.S. due to state government constraints.

Nice To Haves

CBAP or another Business Analysis certification.

Responsibilities

Lead the elicitation, analysis, validation, and documentation of business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Translate stakeholder objectives and business requirements into actionable requirements for application features, workflows, APIs, and integrations.
Develop and maintain functional specifications, process flows, data flows, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
Create lightweight wireframes and low-fidelity mockups to clarify and validate requirements.
Collaborate with UX designers, UI engineers, API engineers, and AWS architects.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams throughout discovery and delivery.
Support testing by validating test cases, participating in UAT, and ensuring requirements coverage.
Support integration and deployment readiness by validating end-to-end workflows and data handoffs.
