About The Position

Conducts research and analysis to support business operations for an internal business segment, division, group, or line of business. Assists management in resolving business issues effectively and productively. Serves as a liaison between clients and the information technology organization from project inception through implementation, providing customer-centric solutions that address business needs. Designs and documents business processes and publishes business metric results.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
Knowledge of general business operations and organizational structure.
Knowledge of basic analysis principles, including working knowledge of systems development life cycles such as Iterative and Agile.
Familiarity with agentic tools such as Claude or similar.
Proficiency with standard office software such as MS Office (including Excel and Outlook) and Visio.
Experience with REST/JSON, SOAP XML, and associated tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for audiences at various organizational levels and at client organizations.
Willingness to share relevant knowledge and expertise with others.
Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, teamwork, customer service, negotiation, conflict management, and time management skills.
Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach.
Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure successful completion.
Ability to work independently, deliver high-quality work by planned deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Resourcefulness and proactivity in gathering information, sharing ideas, and suggesting solutions internally and to clients as applicable.

Nice To Haves

Prior Mortgage Servicing or Home Equity experience is highly preferred.
Prior experience delivering technology integration solutions, including APIs and web services, is highly desirable.
Knowledge of ICE MSP products and services is preferred.
Knowledge of the mortgage and home equity servicing industries and/or the financial services industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze business goals, objectives, and needs in the general business environment for ICE Mortgage Servicing Technology.
Research and analyze business operations and present findings to a manager or, depending on level, the project leader.
Plan and design business processes; recommend and implement changes that improve and support business systems and activities or increase effectiveness and efficiency.
Use systems and data to resolve business issues effectively and productively.
Identify and implement best practices and suggest improvements to current practices.
Develop recommendations to solve business operations problems and issues.
Analyze and document business processes and potentially metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Perform special projects upon request and on occasion.
May coach and/or guide less experienced Business Analysts.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
