About The Position

The Office of Recovery Services (ORS) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team in Taylorsville. This role focuses on bridging document and workflow automation, system improvements, and data reporting. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting automated forms and workflows, performing data analysis, conducting end-user acceptance testing (UAT), and collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders. The position is full-time and offers a hybrid work arrangement after one year. The salary is $25.22 hourly and is non-negotiable. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analysis, business information systems, or a related field—OR an equivalent combination of professional work experience in workflow design or systems analysis.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency using JavaScript for form scripting, validation, and workflow automation.
  • Experience writing queries (SQL) or using data management tools to extract, analyze, and audit data for reporting.
  • Hands-on experience developing functional requirements, executing user acceptance testing (UAT), and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory state criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Workbench, Adobe Designer, or Acrobat.
  • Understanding of child support enforcement, Medicaid recovery, or related state/federal public sector programs and IT systems.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to troubleshoot complex workflow issues, adopt new technologies, and evaluate operational impacts.
  • Ability to self-motivate, prioritize concurrent tasks, and maintain high accuracy under firm timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a team-oriented approach to supporting staff and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, troubleshoot, and maintain agency documents, automated workflows, and forms using JavaScript and tools like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Workbench, or Adobe Designer.
  • Adapt automated systems to meet ORS operational needs, perform SQL-based data extraction, evaluate data quality, and build automated reporting solutions.
  • Conduct end-user acceptance testing (UAT), analyze system capabilities, anticipate software updates and their impact, and adhere to agency change management protocols.
  • Manage and resolve help desk troubleshooting tickets while partnering with ORS leadership, IT technical staff, and third-party vendors to research and address system support issues.
  • Respond to inquiries from agency leadership, Policy, and other entities requesting specific information on workflows, use cases, functionality, and metrics.
  • Create clear system documentation and user guides, translating complex application logic into plain language for non-technical audiences.
