About The Position

The Senior Business Analyst is a key member of STORE Capital’s Data Analytics and Business Intelligence team, responsible for leveraging data, systems, and process optimization to enhance decision-making and drive performance across the organization. This role plays a critical part in translating data into actionable insights while also leading efforts to improve and optimize core business systems—particularly CRM platforms and related workflows that support Acquisitions, Credit Underwriting, Portfolio Management, and Recoveries. This position partners closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, drive system enhancements, and deliver scalable analytics and reporting solutions. The Senior Business Analyst will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that CRM and data systems are effectively aligned to support growth, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall customer and employee experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 4–7 years of experience in business analytics, systems analysis, CRM optimization, or a related role
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data sourcing, validation, analysis, and modeling/scoring
  • Experience working with and optimizing CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and related business systems
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or Excel; experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and/or programming languages (Python, R) preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Experience working with large datasets and supporting business decision-making processes
  • Strong intellectual curiosity with a focus on improving systems, processes, and business outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with data sourcing, lead generation, or sales operations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in commercial real estate, credit analysis, or financial services is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders across Acquisitions, Underwriting, Portfolio Management, and Finance to gather business requirements and deliver data-driven and system-enabled solutions
  • Help lead efforts to optimize CRM platforms and related workflows, improving data quality, usability, and alignment with business processes
  • Analyze business processes and systems to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and improved user experience
  • Develop and maintain datasets, dashboards, and reporting tools that support strategic decision-making
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, working closely with Data, Technology, and external vendors to implement solutions
  • Drive improvements in data integrity, governance, and system consistency across platforms
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to portfolio performance, acquisitions, and customer behavior
  • Create and deliver executive-level reporting and visualizations that clearly communicate key insights
  • Support the development and enhancement of data models, business logic, and system integrations
  • Collaborate with data science and business teams to refine models used to evaluate customer profitability and risk
  • Document business requirements, system processes, and data definitions to support scalability and long-term adoption
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, system enhancements, and key insights
  • Evaluate external data sources and vendor platforms to assess data quality, coverage, and fit for business needs
  • Manage intake and prioritization of business and system change requests from internal stakeholders
  • Support data sourcing workflows, including data validation, enrichment, and delivery into CRM systems
  • Support project planning and coordination across multiple concurrent data and systems initiatives
  • Coordinate with external development partners to translate business requirements into technical specifications, support testing, and track delivery.
