About The Position

Our client is a leading energy utility company undergoing a major technological transformation. They are migrating from legacy Customer Information Systems (CIS) and homegrown applications to modern enterprise platforms like SAP and Salesforce. This pivotal shift requires reimagining the entire reporting, analytics, and performance monitoring landscape. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to play a central role in this journey. You will be the bridge between strategic vision and practical execution, helping to define the future-state analytics framework while building the scalable reporting solutions that will power day-to-day operations and strategic decision-making for years to come.

Requirements

  • 11-15 years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst, with a significant focus on reporting, analytics, and data.
  • Proven experience guiding large-scale system migrations (e.g., CRM, ERP, CIS) and the associated analytics transformation.
  • Deep expertise in designing and implementing enterprise reporting solutions, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools.
  • Strong knowledge of modern data platforms, data warehousing concepts, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) and SQL for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Must be able to work onsite in either Miami, FL (Flagler St) or West Palm Beach, FL (Village Blvd). Please specify your preferred location on your resume.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with regulated utility reporting or working in a highly compliant industry (finance, healthcare, energy) is a major plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with in-house analytics and technology teams to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current reporting and analytics ecosystem.
  • Define and document the future-state vision for analytics, performance monitoring, and regulated reporting in the new SAP/Salesforce environment.
  • Develop and execute a practical, phased roadmap for transitioning reporting capabilities from legacy systems to modern data platforms.
  • Design, build, and optimize dashboards, datasets, and automated reporting pipelines to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Explore and help implement advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI-enabled approaches to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders (Customer Service) and technical teams, translating business needs into technical requirements.
  • Establish governance and best practices for sustainable, scalable reporting and analytics post-migration.
