About The Position

SimCorp is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their North American Consulting organization. This role is crucial for driving operational analytics, monthly business reporting, and supporting the Consulting organization in managing P&L, revenue forecasting, and the budget process. The position involves close collaboration with senior leadership, including the VP of North America, Finance Business Partner, and Head of Business Operations & Strategy. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for leading data analytics and reporting to enhance business performance, partnering with leadership and Finance on financial management, delivering executive-level reports, identifying process improvements through data, and developing analytics tools like Power BI.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in finance, business performance, or a technology-enabled environment
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills (English Language) with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong technical proficiency in tools such as PowerBI, SQL, VBA, macros, Excel, and financial modeling
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and drive initiatives from concept to execution
  • Comfortable communicating complex ideas in a clear and engaging way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A naturally curious and analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with a willingness to grow and support others in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related analytical or technical field is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead data analytics and reporting for utilization, forward load, capacity planning, and operational KPIs to drive business performance.
  • Partner with North America leadership and Finance to support P&L management, revenue forecasting, and budget planning.
  • Deliver accurate and timely business reporting, including monthly and quarterly dashboards for executive stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements using data-driven insights to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain analytics tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to visualize trends and enable informed decision-making.
