We are currently looking to add to our Technology team a Senior Business Analyst with strong analytical skills, who thrives on learning and helping others learn. You will be part of a team whose mission is to support the various Investment teams in achieving their objectives by delivering high-quality technology tools and solutions. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with Power Automate and Power BI.
- Initiative and integrity.
- Team spirit, sound judgment, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning abilities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Bilingualism (French and English) - Need to interact regularly with colleagues from across the country.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
Nice To Haves
- Relevant investment experience (an asset).
- Knowledge of AI tools such as Builder AI, Copilot, or others (an asset).
Responsibilities
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve existing processes.
- Assess and implement automation solutions using various tools (such as Power Automate) to increase efficiency.
- Act as a subject-matter expert in automation for various initiatives with other teams.
- Clarify stakeholders’ needs and requirements for change requests.
- Document functional and technical requirements to support developers’ work.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for users, understand their day-to-day challenges, and propose appropriate solutions.
- Create dynamic reports to facilitate access to and understanding of data.
- Work closely with developers and the technical advisor to ensure solutions are technically feasible and aligned with departmental objectives.
