This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC controls. The technician will diagnose issues across mechanical, electrical, and controls systems, perform preventative maintenance, and support system upgrades and expansions. Responsibilities also include commissioning, retro-commissioning, and startup activities, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting various building automation platforms. The position requires assisting customers with energy optimization, configuring system analytics, and integrating different building systems. The technician will also be involved in Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD) and proactive issue resolution using remote monitoring tools. Building strong customer relationships, serving as a primary technical contact, and identifying service opportunities are key. Collaboration with internal teams and mentoring junior technicians are also expected.
