About The Position

This role is an opportunity to lead Pronamel, a key growth driver within Haleon’s Oral Health portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the U.S. Pronamel business: building the brand strategy, owning the brand P&L, and developing and delivering annual plans that drive penetration, grow market share, and build brand equity. You will partner closely with our Global Oral Health Category team in the UK and U.S. cross-functional teams (plus external agency partners) to align on strategy and share best practices, while managing one or more ABMs on the Pronamel brand team. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.

Requirements

  • MBA degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive commercial marketing experience (brand management and/or marketing strategy roles).
  • U.S. P&L management experience, including operating budget responsibility, within a matrixed organization.
  • Hands-on experience with new product launches and innovation management – from concept development through in-market execution.
  • Experience managing the strategic development and execution of integrated brand advertising campaigns across multiple channels (TV, digital, social, print, etc.).
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams or project pods, demonstrating effective project leadership across disciplines.
  • Decisive and proficient in influencing, collaboration, and conflict management – able to rally others and drive alignment in a matrix environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous marketing experience in consumer goods (CPG) or closely related consumer product sectors. (Exposure to personal care or beauty categories is highly valued, as Haleon increasingly embraces CPG best practices in its culture.)
  • Proven success in managing complex, matrix environments, effectively delivering strong marketing plans by uniting cross-functional and stakeholder priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results through influence – achieving goals in an environment with multiple decision-makers, without always having direct authority.
  • Exceptional communication skills and effectiveness as a leader and facilitator – capable of inspiring teams, conveying vision and strategy clearly, and confidently representing the brand to senior leadership.
  • Comfortable leading through ambiguity and change – displays a growth mindset, remaining adaptable and creative even when plans evolve or information is incomplete.

Responsibilities

  • Build a team culture of performance and consumer obsession – championing creative bravery and executional excellence within the Sensodyne team and across partners.
  • Foster a mindset of ownership, agility, and continuous improvement, where taking initiative and learning from fast experiments is encouraged.
  • Lead Integrated Marketing efforts with internal and agency (IAT) partners, including “Halo” content development – full-funnel campaign assets that extend core brand ideas – with a focus on best-in-class digital effectiveness.
  • Drive end-to-end campaign development, championing brand purpose & equity, from insight & brief to creative execution across all media touchpoints, ensuring consistent and impactful brand messaging in TV, PR, in-store, and especially social media, search, and e-commerce channels.
  • Own the U.S. Pronamel P&L – manage the business proactively to meet/exceed annual sales and profit targets.
  • Lead the monthly DRM (Demand Review) cycle, identifying key risks and opportunities in the forecast, and optimize budget allocation to deliver the plan.
  • Use data-driven decision making (leveraging Nielsen/IRI, PowerBI dashboards, etc.) to maximize ROI on marketing investments and adjust tactics swiftly as needed.
  • Drive innovation and portfolio strategy: Partner with R&D, Insights, Global Category, and Innovation teams to shape a robust 3+ year innovation pipeline for Sensodyne. This includes exploring new product variants, formats, or adjacent category opportunities that meet consumer needs.
  • Lead U.S. commercialization for all innovation launches – from positioning and packaging development to go-to-market execution – ensuring excellence at every stage of launch.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales/Commercial teams to translate brand strategies into winning customer plans.
  • Work with Shopper Marketing and Category Management to drive retail activation (shelf strategy, promotions, eCommerce content) aligned to the brand strategy, and secure retailer buy-in for key initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights continuously to inform strategy.
  • Use market data and consumer research to track brand health, segment performance, and competitor moves.
  • Proactively identify opportunities (e.g., an emerging social media trend in oral care or a new competitor product in sensitive toothpaste) and propose innovative marketing or product responses.
  • Navigate a complex matrix of stakeholders with superior influencing skills.
  • Continuously align and influence senior stakeholders across local functional teams, global category leaders, and external partners.
  • Represent the Sensodyne brand in leadership forums, requiring strategic storytelling and data-backed recommendations to secure buy-in for your plans.
