Job responsibilities include: This role leads the Goodnites® flagship brand delivering continued growth and value creation as the category leader. The role is directly responsible for overall business performance and leading a cross-functional team. It leads the development and execution of annual business, brand, and media strategies and plans to deliver financial goals (P&L). The position leads and influences cross-functional partners in a matrix organization, including research and engineering, product supply, finance, sales, insights and analytics, legal, and more. The Goodnites® Senior Brand Manager manages a team of 3 direct reports and provides leadership to the cross-functional teams. It starts with YOU. Strong marketing skills including strategic brand plan development, innovation pipeline development and development of consumer-inspired marketing plans executed across traditional media, digital and retail channels. Demonstrated experience in leveraging digital trends, tools and technology to build winning marketing plans that resonate with consumers in digital channels. Demonstrated ability transitioning facts into inspiring insights. Strong customer activation skills across the Distribution, Pricing, Shelving, Merchandising, and eCommerce levers. Integrates all the key marketing levers including Marketing, Innovation, Digital, IME, RGM To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications: 10+ years in marketing with proven brand management experience, ideally in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG). P&L management; development and execution of brand marketing; cross- functional knowledge; direct experience in all various aspects of business including manufacturing, product & technology development, and product supply Strong understanding of brand foundational tools, consumer insight identification and brand strategy development Concept & brief writing of both product innovation and renovation and commercial news Leading in a matrix organization driving collaboration across businesses and functions Leading agency partners in long-term projects Track record of successfully bringing innovations into market Compelling communications in crafting and transforming a vision and strategy into actionable plans that inspires emotional connection (internal and external) Collaboration with key customers to drive actionable distribution, merchandising, shelving, and pricing/promotion Bachelor's degree required Chicago based role Led by Purpose. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience.
