About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Board Product Development Engineer to join its Operations Engineering team. The role supports the successful release of NVIDIA-designed board and system products to high-volume manufacturing, including AI PC products. The engineer represents Product Operations Engineering in early manufacturing test-solution planning and coordinates stakeholders around production-release requirements. The position develops scalable manufacturing test architectures, methodologies, processes, and system requirements; develops and qualifies test strategies, fixtures, and equipment for new product features; and validates hardware test solutions for production deployment. The engineer collaborates with Mechanical, Thermal, Test, Hardware Design, Software, and Quality Engineering teams on DFX initiatives and factory-release requirements. The role also supports factory builds and production ramps by debugging board- and system-level issues with internal teams and external manufacturing partners. It monitors manufacturing test verification from board to system level, analyzes production data, identifies risks, and drives corrective actions to ensure release readiness. Continuous improvement includes adopting new manufacturing test technologies, optimizing processes, supporting international factories, and mentoring and developing engineering talent.

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in hardware design analysis, prototype bring-up, failure verification, and manufacturing test support.
  • Extensive experience in high-volume board and system manufacturing process verification.
  • Ability to travel to other countries for on-site factory product build support for 6 to 8 weeks per year.
  • Strong understanding of board and system manufacturing test processes, quality systems, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to work effectively with multifunctional teams and clearly communicate complex technical information.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.
