About The Position

This role involves programming, configuring, and commissioning HVAC controls and Building Management Systems (BMS). The Senior BMS Programmer will be responsible for creating custom applications, managing BAS systems, and performing maintenance and repairs.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of BAS/controls industry experience.
• Tridium AX/N4 certification.
• TCP/IP and MSTP networks.
• Modbus, LON and BACnet knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player and self-motivated.
• Strong understanding of programming, startup, and commissioning.
• Familiar with BAS communication protocols, BACnet and Modbus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues within systems.

Responsibilities

• Program and configure custom applications from scratch or pre-packaged libraries.
• Perform preventative & predictive maintenance on BAS systems.
• Create controls databases from scratch.
• Analyze and read schematics for BAS/BMS controls.
• Create BAS system graphics.
• Manage and oversee BAS/BMS via in-office computers.
• Repair and replace all parts associated to the BAS/BMS.
