About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Building Automation Controls Programmer / BMS Engineer with 2-5+ years of experience in BAS programming. The ideal candidate will be proficient in platforms such as EcoStruxure Building Operation, Niagara, or Tridium, and possess strong logic programming skills. A solid understanding of HVAC systems, including chilled water plants and VAV systems, along with their control sequences, is essential. Experience with BACnet, Modbus, and basic IP networking is also required. The role involves reading and interpreting technical documents, troubleshooting programming and hardware issues, and utilizing standard office and technical tools.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience in BAS programming (EcoStruxure Building Operation, Niagara, Tridium, or similar platforms)
• Proficient in logic programming (e.g., Plain English, scripting, ladder logic, or Python)
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water plants, VAV systems, and related control sequences
• Experience with BACnet, Modbus, and IP networking basics (VLANs, multicast, switches)
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC plans, electrical diagrams, and specifications
• Strong troubleshooting skills, both in programming and hardware interface
• Proficient with standard office tools and technical platforms: Excel, Visio, Word, and EBO WorkStation

Responsibilities

• Programming Building Automation Systems (BAS) using platforms like EcoStruxure Building Operation, Niagara, or Tridium.
• Developing and implementing logic programming, including Plain English, scripting, ladder logic, or Python.
• Applying a solid understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water plants, VAV systems, and related control sequences.
• Working with communication protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
• Utilizing knowledge of IP networking basics, including VLANs, multicast, and switches.
• Reading and interpreting HVAC plans, electrical diagrams, and specifications.
• Troubleshooting programming and hardware interface issues.
• Utilizing standard office tools and technical platforms like Excel, Visio, Word, and EBO WorkStation.
