The Senior Benefits Specialist is responsible for the administration, analysis, and delivery of UofL Health's employee benefits programs, ensuring an exceptional team member experience while maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, and organizational policies. This role serves as a subject matter expert for health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, leave programs, and benefits-related processes. The Senior Benefits Specialist partners closely with Human Resources, Payroll, vendors, and leadership to support a workforce dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. A key responsibility of this position is managing benefits-related inquiries and transactions through Workday Case Management, serving as the primary communication and service delivery platform for team member interactions. The Senior Benefits Specialist ensures timely, accurate, and professional resolution of cases while maintaining high service standards and operational excellence.
