About The Position

The Senior Benefits Specialist will provide administrative support for our benefit plans and assist our employees with questions and issues related to their benefits. Researches, analyzes, evaluates, and administers corporate benefit plans and programs. Manage relationships with benefit vendors and performance. Monitors benefit trends in the business environment and must stay abreast of applicable benefits legislation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' progressive experience in a Benefits Specialist role or similar.
  • Understanding of broad concepts as it relates to employee benefits.
  • Should be highly resourceful & proactive in task execution.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills in a fast paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and a fast learner.
  • Strong customer service and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Must be able to comply with and support WWT’s core values.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as main point of contact for one or more benefit programs.
  • May serve as main point of contact with vendors as it related to EAP, Wellness, and Onsite Health.
  • May facilitate onsite events such as blood pressure screenings, flu shots and other wellness initiatives.
  • Responsible for creating, facilitating and promoting various wellbeing initiatives (physical, emotional, financial wellbeing).
  • Provides support on various benefits compliance efforts.
  • Analyzes and approves benefit invoices.
  • Main point of contact for any escalated benefits matters, partnering with HR Services, Total Rewards team, HRBP’s, Payroll and managers and may interface directly with employees.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert and advises on benefits for employee life cycle, including onboarding, life events, termination, retirement, and severance.
  • Assists with high level HCM projects (open enrollment, new benefits, etc.), reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Assists with research, implementation, and rollout of new employee benefits.
  • May assist with in preparing benefits analyses/comparisons.
  • Assists with managing vendor relationships.
  • Prepares and maintains benefits education and communication materials.
  • May partner with various in-country brokers to provide benefits support.
  • Other Benefit duties as needed.
