Senior Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Engineer Location: Coppell, TX
About The Position
This role focuses on the design, deployment, and management of production Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters. The engineer will be responsible for implementing robust solutions leveraging Kubernetes, Docker, Azure Container Registry (ACR), and Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions. A key aspect of the role involves ensuring the security and performance of the clusters through expertise in Azure networking, RBAC, Azure AD integration, secrets management, and monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Grafana. Automation of infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep is also a critical function, alongside troubleshooting cluster issues, optimizing performance, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 9-10 years of experience in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Strong experience with Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with Docker.
- Strong experience with Azure Container Registry (ACR).
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions.
- Expertise in Azure networking (VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, Application Gateway).
- Experience in implementing security (RBAC, Azure AD, secrets management).
- Experience in monitoring (Azure Monitor, Grafana).
- Experience automating infrastructure using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
