About The Position
We are seeking a Senior AWS Architect to lead our cloud migration and modernization efforts. This role involves designing enterprise-scale AWS architectures, defining cloud migration strategies, and developing reusable architectural patterns. You will collaborate with development, security, and risk teams to implement secure, cloud-native solutions, drive container adoption, and optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and reliability. This position also involves mentoring junior engineers and architects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years IT experience.
- 5+ years AWS architecture experience.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud platforms.
- Experience with cloud migration programs.
- Strong AWS networking, security, and compute expertise.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with microservices and API architectures.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities
- Design enterprise-scale AWS architectures supporting modernization initiatives.
- Define cloud migration and transformation strategies.
- Develop reference architectures, reusable patterns, and architecture standards.
- Lead architecture reviews and technology evaluations.
- Create secure cloud designs aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Partner with development teams to implement cloud-native solutions.
- Define multi-region and disaster recovery architectures.
- Establish Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Drive container and Kubernetes adoption strategies.
- Design API-first and event-driven integration patterns.
- Collaborate with Security and Risk teams to satisfy governance requirements.
- Optimize cloud cost, performance, and reliability.
- Mentor engineers and solution architects.
