About The Position

The Transaction Advisory Services Senior Associate plays a key role in executing financial, accounting, and operational due diligence engagements for both strategic and private equity clients. This individual will work closely with engagement teams and client stakeholders to evaluate target companies, identify key risks and opportunities, and deliver actionable insights that support informed investment decisions. Requirements

  • Strong foundation in accounting and financial analysis, with working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Experience performing financial due diligence, including quality of earnings and working capital analyses
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate findings into meaningful insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly present complex financial concepts to diverse audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of an organization
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing client needs
  • High level of professionalism and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work
  • Effective project management and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • 2 years of Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) or financial due diligence experience required
  • 2–3 additional years of public accounting experience, preferably in audit
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word for client deliverables

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to or familiarity with IFRS and cross-border transactions is a plus
  • Prior experience interacting with senior leadership or C-level executives is preferred
  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, including quality of earnings analyses, working capital assessments, and cash flow evaluations
  • Analyze historical and projected financial information to identify trends, risks, and potential deal considerations
  • Assess accounting policies and practices for compliance with U.S. GAAP and identify areas of concern or potential adjustments
  • Review and interpret financial statements, operational data, and key performance indicators across a variety of industries
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings, including key deal issues, normalized earnings, and transaction considerations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, audit, and valuation professionals, to deliver comprehensive client solutions
  • Participate in client meetings, including discussions with senior leadership and C-suite executives
  • Assist in managing multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Identify potential value creation opportunities and risks that may impact transaction pricing or structure
  • Support business development efforts through relationship building, networking, and contributing to proposals and pitch materials
