About The Position

Hanwha Defense USA delivers innovative defense solutions supporting the mission readiness of U.S. customers. We’re building a world-class team committed to challenging the status quo and functioning as constructive disruptors in the Defense Manufacturing sector. Hanhwa Defense USA is seeking a Corporate Recruiter with full life-cycle recruiting experience to support a broad range of corporate and technical (non-SW) roles. The ideal candidate has both a high-volume, quick-turn agency background and a focus on long-term, quality hires. Experience in GovCon or defense manufacturing environments is a plus. As a Senior Associate – Talent Acquisition you will lead requisitions end-to-end—from intake and sourcing through offer negotiation and onboarding—while driving an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on full life-cycle recruiting experience (corporate or agency).
  • Staffing agency background preferred—high-volume requisition ownership and closing experience.
  • Experience in GovCon or defense manufacturing strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with ATS systems (WorkforceNow) and CRM/sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ClearanceJobs).
  • Demonstrated ability to source, screen, and negotiate/offers across corporate and technical roles.
  • Strong business acumen, consultative communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-informed approach with experience tracking time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and pipeline metrics.
  • High integrity, urgency, and a candidate-first mindset.
  • U.S. work authorization required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in GovCon or defense manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions: intake/kickoff, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, stakeholder alignment, offer negotiation, and handoff to onboarding.
  • Source candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, talent communities, referrals, and niche defense/GovCon networks.
  • Screen and assess candidates for skills, experience, cultural alignment, and eligibility to work with export-controlled information; conduct structured, competency-based interviews.
  • Manage offers and negotiations: calibrate compensation, draft offers, navigate counteroffers, and close candidates in partnership with HR and hiring managers.
  • Coordinate interviews & logistics: build interview plans, prep panels, collect feedback, and maintain momentum to reduce time-to-fill.
  • Own requisition health: keep ATS data clean, maintain pipelines, report on funnel metrics (submittals, interviews, offers, accepts), and provide weekly status updates.
  • Partner with hiring managers: participate in intake meetings, define must-haves vs. nice-to-haves, advise on market availability and competitive intel.
  • Enhance employer brand: craft compelling job postings, candidate messaging, and interview collateral; represent Hanwha Defense USA professionally in the market.
  • Continuously improve: propose process enhancements, experiment with sourcing channels, and contribute to TA playbooks and best practices.
