Senior Associate, PE Data Products

Bain Capital•Boston, MA
•$115,000 - $150,000

About The Position

Bain Capital is seeking a senior, hands-on Senior Associate to own Private Equity data products in Snowflake, from platform foundations through business-critical data processes. The role is a technical expert position on a small product team and reports to the Director of Data Products. The ideal candidate has deep Snowflake expertise and strong platform instincts, thinks in systems and abstractions, and uses AI coding agents to build from clear specifications and validate the results. The role treats infrastructure, permissions, and governance as code. It partners directly with leaders in Private Equity Finance, Investment Operations, and Data Governance to establish foundations—including data certification, lineage, data quality, and platform automation—that can become patterns for other data domains across the firm. The Senior Associate will work closely with Data Engineering, Information Security, and Cloud Operations, while shaping the capability roadmap with the product manager. Bain Capital describes the team as small and AI-native, partnering directly with Private Equity leadership in a collaborative environment that values innovation and excellence. The expected annual base salary is $115,000–$150,000. The role may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on factors such as individual impact and team and firm performance. Bain Capital offers a competitive benefits package designed to support employees’ health, financial security, family needs, and overall well-being.
