The Governmental Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) Division of the American College of Physicians (ACP) is seeking a candidate for the position of Senior Associate, Lobbyist for the Legislative Affairs department. ACP, a national organization of internal medicine physicians with headquarters in Philadelphia, is the largest medical specialty organization and the second-largest physician group in the United States. The Senior Associate, Lobbyist advocates ACP's positions with members of Congress and their staff and assists in the development of policy options and strategies to achieve ACP's stated goals and objectives with Congress. They will consult with the ACP Services PAC staff and consultants to recommend contributions to various political candidates based on set criteria approved by the ACP Services PAC Board of Directors. This is a hybrid role in Washington DC with at least two days in the office per week required.
