About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate, IT Program Management to join our IT Program Management team. In this role, the ideal candidate will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects — coordinating cross-functional teams and third-party partners to deliver results within scope, timeline, and budget. Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in technology or life sciences environments.
  • Familiarity with both Agile and traditional (waterfall) project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., Orchestra, Smartsheets, or similar platforms).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • PMP, or equivalent project management certification (in progress or completed).
  • Experience with enterprise software implementations.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and monitor project plans and schedules, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Support and motivate cross-functional project teams - coordinating internal members, vendors, and third-party contractors to drive accountability and successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrate growing strategic awareness by aligning project activities to business objectives and flagging deviations early.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for project risks, issues, and decisions, escalating appropriately while building independent judgment over time.
  • Support stakeholder alignment and manage governance structures and communication cadences to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks and maintain risk and issue logs to mitigate impacts before they escalate.
  • Act as primary point of contact for Orchestra and Smartsheet, overseeing user access, data standards, and system configuration to ensure accuracy of project data, resource allocation, and timelines.
  • Build and maintain IT project portfolios and dashboards in Orchestra in collaboration with IT Program Management leadership.
  • Support the yearly IT budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Create and manage project purchase requisitions in Oracle ERP.
