As a Senior Associate, IT Business Systems Analysis – Sinking Spring, PA you will serve as a strategic partner and liaison between information technology (IT) and manufacturing operations identifying and delivering solutions improving the efficiency and effectiveness of production processes while meeting customer service levels. In doing so you will have responsibility for delivering advanced functional and technical expertise in the design, implementation, enhancement, and support of Siemens Opcenter MES solutions and other enterprise applications across manufacturing sites. This role partners with business stakeholders, global IT teams, and external vendors to translate business requirements into scalable, compliant, and high-quality solutions that support manufacturing operations. You will perform IT lifecycle management of assigned applications where responsibilities include ensuring compliance, stability and integrity levels while driving continual improvements for the application assets and services. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, manufacturing process knowledge, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 2 Years of Relevant Experience

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of IT experience with MES or manufacturing systems
  • Hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter MES or similar platforms
  • Experience in global MES deployments
  • Experience in GxP / CSV regulated environments
  • Understanding manufacturing technologies such as SAP, shopfloor systems, data, databases and underlying infrastructure.
  • Ability to work with globally distributed, cross-functional engineering, product, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the site MES capability owner, driving value realization through improvements in yield, quality, throughput and cost
  • Partner with ERP, OT, automation and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure and reliable MES integration between integrated systems
  • Lead and support MES enhancements, deployments, and continuous improvements for OpsCenter platforms
  • Configure, test, and validate MES solutions in alignment with global standards
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain stakeholders to understand process requirements
  • Act as a trusted advisor for MES capabilities and process optimization
  • Ensure alignment with global MES COE and multi-site deployment strategy
  • Provide L2/L3 support for MES applications, including incident management and problem resolution
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
  • Partnering with Site Engineering to support for equipment integrations
  • Drive root cause analysis and defect resolution
  • Ensure system stability, performance, and data integrity
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and integration standards
  • Contribute to system design decisions and technical roadmap
  • Document detailed application specifications (User Requirement Specifications, Functional Specifications and System Design Specifications), translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/enhance software application modules.
  • Strategically align and coordinate multiple project priorities while adhering to all timelines from the manufacturing site and ITCI while ensuring consistency with Security and Compliance policies.
  • Liaise with Site IT Head to deliver business requests, providing early input into application planning and budgeting process as needed.
  • Work closely with business partners in Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for IT solutions.
  • Lead all aspects of end-to-end integration of assigned applications and services delivered to the manufacturing site both locally and globally.
  • Responsible to maintain application asset lifecycle/inventory management data in ServiceNow along with all IT Admin SOPs and Architectural Handbooks for assigned applications.
