Senior Associate, Financial Analyst
About The Position
As Capital One continues to grow and scale, the Card Finance team plays an increasingly important role to drive increased visibility into the financials, share more analytical insights, and shape key decisions for the business. This role will support the Card OpEx Central team in Card Finance, with a focus on labor and capacity planning, cost trends monitoring, reporting suite development, and scenario analysis. As a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will be responsible for partnering cross functionally to deliver headcount insights, proactively identifying key risks and opportunities to budgets, and independently crafting analyses to drive business outcomes. This role requires strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills in order to effectively: Conduct analysis and drive actionable insights Develop presentations to senior audiences to communicate insights and to influence both business and financial outcomes Partner with Finance teams to develop a financial narrative for our leaders Foster strong relationships across FP&A
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in financial analysis
- At least 2 years’ experience with financial modeling
Nice To Haves
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- 3+ years’ experience in financial analysis
- 3+ years’ experience with financial modeling
- 1+ years’ experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
