Senior Associate, Electrical Engineer
About The Position
Responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting equipment and systems. Performs engineering RF/analog/digital design and measurement tasks as well as operational tests and fault isolation on radio systems. Uses a variety of test and measurement equipment to evaluate radio performance. Creates test strategies and specifications for new and derivative assemblies. Prepares test and diagnostic software, designs test fixtures, and completes test procedures for new and existing products. Develops, debugs, and optimizes test software using National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand. Documents test hardware and software using computer-based tools. Instructs technicians in the completion of test requirements. Ensures production goals & metrics are met from a test perspective.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant Electrical Engineering experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related Electrical Engineering experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in digital, analog, and RF circuitry design/troubleshoot
- Measurement of key performance parameters using analyzers, generators, oscilloscopes, and meters
- Understanding of software defined radio products and communications
- Expertise in evaluation of designs for testability; Working knowledge of functional board level testing, unit and system level testing, coverage analysis
- Must be a self-starter, and able to work successfully with minimal supervision
- NI LabVIEW/TestStand development experience
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum development process.

- Support Delivery of new products to our manufacturing facility.
- Fixture, cable, PCB design for automated manufacturing test fixtures.
