About The Position

This role involves developing and implementing high-quality Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions within Global Banking & Markets at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York. The position requires designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and business processes, utilizing multidimensional data modeling and data warehousing techniques. Responsibilities include performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using SQL, developing prescriptive and predictive analytics solutions with tools like Alteryx, Python, or R, and creating interactive data visualizations and dashboards with BI tools such as Tableau and PowerBI. The role also involves gathering business requirements, creating specifications, ensuring testing traceability, and managing project prioritization and stakeholder engagement for timely delivery of analytics solutions aligned with business goals.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Integrated Marketing, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Integrated Marketing, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered in a related role.
• One (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: working with Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics tools.
• One (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: working with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
• One (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: Structured Query Language (SQL).
• One (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: Alteryx, Python, or R.
• One (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: Data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement high-quality Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and business processes.
• Utilize multidimensional data modeling and data warehousing techniques to support advanced data analytics and reporting.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) by writing and optimizing complex queries in database languages such as SQL.
• Develop and deploy prescriptive and predictive analytics solutions using tools like Alteryx, Python, or R to identify process improvements, mitigate risk, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Create and manage interactive and insightful data visualizations and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
• Gather and document business requirements, create specifications for BI solutions, and ensure full testing traceability to align with stakeholder needs.
• Manage project prioritization and stakeholder engagement to ensure the timely delivery of analytics solutions that align with established business goals.
