About The Position

Weber Shandwick is looking for a strong Senior Associate for their Consumer Practice in Chicago. This role will support multi-channel campaigns and help bring to life innovative ideas for iconic brands, particularly in the food, CPG, and lifestyle sectors. The ideal candidate is passionate about these industries, stays current with culture and the media landscape, and possesses strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience.
• Background in consumer, consumer-tech, travel, fashion and/or CPG PR.
• BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field.
• Excellent communication/presentation skills; verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong experience with both large-scale and start-up business environments preferred.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering clear and precise work.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with media databases and social tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Support multi-channel campaigns.
• Contribute to earned media campaigns including thought leadership, product launches, and earned-first creative campaigns.
• Craft compelling pitches, client emails, and storytelling narratives.
• Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and agency partners to create impactful work.
