About The Position

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Asset Analyst to own asset data integrity, reporting, and disposition across its AI cloud data center hardware fleet. The role maintains accurate records for GPU servers, networking, storage, and optics across systems of record; builds reporting for Operations, Finance, and leadership; and takes end-to-end ownership of asset disposition as the program matures. The analyst works alongside the Asset Manager and partners with Procurement, Fleet, Site Operations, Accounting, and Security. The role has autonomy to run a workstream and automate manual processes. It is fully onsite at one of Crusoe’s West Coast offices in San Francisco, California; Bellevue, Washington; or Sunnyvale, California.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in data center operations, hardware asset management, inventory management, or a data-focused operations role.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Proven experience reconciling data across multiple systems of record and resolving conflicting sources of truth.
  • Hands-on experience with asset management, ITAM, ERP, or DCIM platforms.
  • Experience building dashboards in a BI tool such as Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Active use of scripting or AI tools to remove manual work from personal workflows.
  • Track record of running a workstream end to end with minimal direction in a fast-moving environment where processes evolve alongside the fleet.
  • Clear communication across engineering, finance, and operations, and the writing skills to document processes for others.

Nice To Haves

  • SQL skills.
  • Hands-on familiarity with data center hardware, including servers, GPUs, storage, networking, PDUs, and CDUs.
  • Experience with hardware disposition, remarketing, or e-waste vendor management.
  • Exposure to procurement systems, purchase order workflows, or fixed asset accounting and depreciation.
  • Experience supporting budget planning, forecasting, or capital expenditure processes.
  • Familiarity with hardware lifecycle concepts such as EOL, RMA, warranty management, and secure data sanitization.
  • Experience in hyperscale or cloud infrastructure environments.
  • Professional certification such as CHAMP, CSAM, or ITIL.

Responsibilities

  • Audit and reconcile asset records across systems of record, resolve discrepancies, and establish a reliable source of truth.
  • Diagnose data gaps, address them with upstream teams, and define required fields, standards, and validation rules.
  • Build and maintain dashboards covering inventory position, deployment status, warranty coverage, and end-of-life exposure.
  • Deliver recurring and ad hoc reporting for Operations, Finance, and leadership.
  • Provide asset data for budget planning and forecasting, including spares, warranty renewals, and refresh cycles; support depreciation, audit, and compliance reporting with Accounting and Security.
  • Identify and flag aging hardware, coverage gaps, and unaccounted assets.
  • Own asset disposition from identification through decommissioning handoff, vendor coordination, and closure; maintain chain-of-custody and sanitization evidence, reconcile remarketing proceeds and credits, and manage disposal vendors and certificates of destruction.
  • Support assets throughout receiving, deployment, transfer, and decommissioning; work with suppliers on shipment data, part numbers, and warranty records.
  • Automate recurring reconciliation and reporting using SQL, scripting, and AI tools.
  • Write and maintain SOPs in Confluence, establish processes with cross-functional teams, gather feedback, and refine workflows.
  • Support data validation and cutover when asset tooling and systems change.
