About The Position

Exponent is seeking a Senior Architect or Architectural Engineer to join their Civil & Structural Engineering Practice. This role involves leading and growing engineering/architectural consulting services regionally and nationally. Responsibilities include inspection, analysis, and root cause determination of building envelope and material failures, conducting analytical and computer problem-solving, performing field investigations, preparing technical reports and presentations, marketing to clients, and managing projects.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering or Architecture and at least 2-3 years of consulting experience related to buildings, OR M.S. in Architectural Engineering or Architecture and at least 6 years of consulting experience related to buildings.
• Presently legally authorized to work in the United States. No immigration sponsorship or processing required.
• Professional license in Engineering (PE) or Architecture (AIA)
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to synthesize technical information and present it to specialists and non-specialists alike
• Clear written communication and technical writing skills
• Proven dedication to quality and accuracy
• Versatile, team-oriented, willing to work overtime and travel when required
