About The Position

The Senior Application Architect designs and develops IT application architecture solutions for business problems in alignment with enterprise architecture direction and standards. The role involves moderately complex to complex work requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors, and operates with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches. The architect performs technical planning, develops and modifies architecture specifications, and creates specifications for new products, services, applications, and service offerings. The role assesses the compatibility and integration of proposed products and services to support an integrated architecture across interdependent applications. It also begins to influence department strategy and makes technical approach decisions for project components independently. It serves as a technology liaison across several corporate functions and provides technical leadership for complex application and production support issues. The position is remote, with occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings. A dedicated work area and an internet connection with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload are required for home work.
