About The Position

Atlas Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Appian Certified Developer to join its IT team and design and implement complex process automation solutions connecting the Appian low-code platform with PeopleSoft ERP. The role creates an “agility layer” that enables users to interact with PeopleSoft data and workflows through Appian interfaces. This is a fully remote position for residents of AL, CA, CT, FL, GA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, NC, OR, RI, SC, TX, VA, DC, WV, or NJ, with travel up to 10%. The position requires U.S. citizenship, an existing Public Trust or DoD clearance, and the ability to obtain or maintain DoD Secret clearance. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience is required, along with specified Appian and security certifications.

Requirements

At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Appian versions 24.x or higher.
Advanced SQL skills; PL/SQL is preferred.
Expert knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML for cross-system communication.
U.S. citizenship.
Must possess a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DoD) clearance and be able to obtain or maintain DoD Secret-level security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.
Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification.
Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Appian Data Fabric for unifying disparate data sources.
Background in Java or JavaScript for developing custom plugins when standard connectors are insufficient.
Understanding of PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces, and ability to work with PeopleSoft technical teams to define service requirements.
Experience working in a Center of Excellence (COE) or an Agile/DevOps environment.
Attention to detail and a focus on delivering secure, high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and configure Connected Systems and Integration Objects to consume PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services.
Architect Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types that accurately map to PeopleSoft’s Oracle database schemas.
Develop end-to-end process models that trigger actions in PeopleSoft, such as employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates.
Create Appian Web APIs for PeopleSoft to send real-time data updates or event notifications to Appian.
Build SAIL forms and dashboards that combine data from multiple systems into a unified user experience.
Implement secure system-to-system authentication using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication.
