About The Position

The Senior, Asset Protection Systems Admin supports stores, field teams, supply chain, and fraud functions by administering and improving AP tools and technology. This role deploys, enhances, and maintains exception reporting tools, case management systems, work order systems, and other end-user platforms. Through solution development, partner collaboration, and continuous feedback, the Senior, AP Systems Admin helps strengthen AP operations and collaborates closely with Macy’s Technology, Supply Chain, Fraud, and other business partners.

Requirements

  • Systems Administration: Experience administering enterprise software platforms, managing configurations, workflows, user access, and system functionality.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Asset Protection, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise technology systems, applications administration, operations, Asset Protection, fraud prevention, supply chain, or a related discipline.
  • Experience administering software platforms, workflows, user access, and business applications that support operational teams.
  • Experience working with case management systems, reporting platforms, work order systems, fraud tools, exception reporting solutions, or similar enterprise applications preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience working with technology support, system administration, or platform management tools.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle concepts, testing methodologies, and implementation processes preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting both day-to-day operational needs and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across multiple departments and influence outcomes through strong partnership and communication skills.
  • This role involves performing essential job functions such as communication, collaboration, and use of office and computer systems.
  • Responsibilities include the ability to access and review written and electronic information, and to move within the work environment and interact with workplace materials as needed to carry out job responsibilities.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs, including occasional travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Asset Protection technology platforms, including exception reporting, case management, work order management, and related operational systems.
  • Partner with Asset Protection leadership and business stakeholders to identify system requirements, prioritize enhancements, and develop technology solutions that improve operational performance.
  • Collaborate with Macy's Technology teams on the design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of AP systems and applications.
  • Monitor system performance, user adoption, and operational effectiveness to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for AP technology platforms, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and support to stores, field teams, supply chain partners, and corporate users.
  • Manage system configurations, user access, workflows, and business rules to ensure platforms meet operational and security requirements.
  • Support the deployment of new functionality, upgrades, integrations, and technology enhancements across AP applications.
  • Partner with Fraud, Supply Chain, Stores, and other business teams to understand operational challenges and develop technology-driven solutions.
  • Analyze user feedback, system data, and operational metrics to identify trends and recommend enhancements that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, process guides, user procedures, and training materials.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and validation efforts for system enhancements and new technology deployments.
  • Support vendor relationships and third-party technology providers to resolve issues and maximize platform performance.
  • Assist in developing reporting and system-based solutions that provide actionable information to operational teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and data governance requirements across AP systems.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
