About The Position

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Antenna and Microwave Engineer to apply RF/microwave system theory and design expertise across architectures, subsystems, components, and Active Electronically Steered Antennas (AESAs). The role uses knowledge of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and electromagnetic and microwave theory to design and test microwave components, cards, and systems, and to provide technical support to production activities. The Antenna and Microwave Department designs phased-array antenna systems, including active and passive microwave components, radiators, radomes, and RF subassemblies. The team develops technologies for advanced capabilities and supports radar systems throughout their life cycle. This is an onsite position in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. Some travel to integration sites and customer or subcontractor facilities may be required.

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in microwave/RF system, subsystem, and component analysis, design, and testing.
  • Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, or Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition, and analytical tools such as Matlab.
  • U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
