About The Position

RTX is seeking an electrical engineering intern to apply a strong academic background in RF/microwave system theory and design, including architectures, subsystems, components, and Active Electronically Steered Antennas (AESAs). The role focuses on designing RF microwave components and phased-array applications, and integrating and testing phased-array hardware at component and system levels. The intern will learn about microwave/RF system, subsystem, and component analysis, design, and test. This is a Summer 2027 onsite position in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required before the start date.
Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government-issued security clearance is required before the start date.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, and Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition, and analytical tools such as Matlab.

Responsibilities
