Senior Angular/Python Engineer
About The Position
Fixed Income Technology is looking for a full stack developer to join the Fixed Income Investment Tools Development Team. As a member of our team, you will be working with our investment team and interact directly with portfolio managers, quant analysts, traders, and investment operations teams to build new and innovative tools that will support and improve our investment process. These tools are critically important to the work of the investment team in handling risk, adding return, and operating our business. You will be embedded with the investment team as a key technology partner supporting the investment process.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree and over four years of professional experience
- Experience developing applications using Angular as primary frontend framework for UI
- Experience working in Python
- Experience working in SQL
- Excellent active listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build collaboration and community
- Ability to learn new technology, business workflows, concepts, processes
- Ability to contribute to the investment process
- Ability to understand and respond to business needs
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in Microsoft Suite of tools including Excel VBA and Power Platform
- Exposure to AWS/Azure cloud environment
- Proven understanding of CI/CD & DevOps
